August 2011 : c'est quoi ça?! arrête!

We had a nice month of August. First we went to Cucugnan with Lucas, Kate and Theo. We stopped on the way at Sarlat, where we were had our first taste of the holidays, good food, beautifull town, and fans of Britney Spears! Cucugnan was great although, Jeremy, Xaviera and james were not there...

At first it was very windy, so at least they were not any clouds! The first day we went to Alex's restaurant in Duilhac where we had great food, and stayed untill 4pm. The second day, we went to the little market in Duilhac, were we were able to buy local products such as jam, macaroons, wine, and we enjoyed a curry. Lucas, Kate, Theo, Robin, Ong Kawi and Nanna went to the real medieval market on the wednesday,while we went to xaviera's father's funeral, in Saint jean de luz. The ceremony was beautiful, with songs in basque, the weather was glorius, Xaviera and her family said goodbye beautifully.

Soon were back in Cucugnan with a beautiful weather. Frank and Lucas spent eveynight watching the stars on the terrase. all you could was Robin saying c'est quoi ça or arrête. We went swimming at the river with the kids. Frank and Lucas hid bottles of beer in the river, Ong Kwai tried to catch some fish with bare hands, but was more successfull with his bottle of beer!  Robin suddenly discovered he could swimm to follow Kate around, and forgot all about the freezing water.  One night we had pizza on the beach, we went to the medieval banquet...

Robin and Theo really played together the last evening : " veni Theo" while there were running around in the Auberge du Vigneron.

Back in Paris we spent two days with delphine and sacha. the first day we went to drop off all the paper works for ours visas at the Japanese Embassy. that's when I realised it is not going to be easy! then we went to delphine and sacha's house, where we looked at delphine's belly, and explained that there was a baby sister in it. We all went to Mc donalds and to a great park were sacha and Robin had a lot of fun climbing on a structure. the next day we went to la cité des enfants. robin was not always very nice with sacha, but they were ok in the end. then we enjoyed a mc donald picnic  and the kids played for a long time together... it was a great day.
